To make our computers and laptops even safer, we have added a powerful child filter. Based on best available technology, we have found these filters work well within a family environment.
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT THE VIRUS PROOF CHILD FILTER?
With access to several filters available, Setup Complete engineers tested what they considered the top 10 filters available worldwide.
Some filters prooved to be very powerful, in fact too powerful, leaving the user unable to access "normal" safe web sites. Others were based loosely on a constantly updated database. Unfortunately these filters did not integrate well into the "real world" as evil web sites were able to skirt around such simple filters.
Costings on the filter software varied. Ranging from the free filters available from the Australian government, to popular yet fairly expensive American and English solutions.

HOW IS THE FILTER INTEGRATED INTO THE COMPUTER?
By totally re-designing a good quality computer and laptop, we have split the computer into two separate zones.
Zone 1 is where consenting adults have total access to the Internet. Here any web site imaginable can be accessed safely. It is also where all general emails can be accessed.
The child friendly area is dedicated to Zone 2, where strong filters protect children looking up boobs, drug related and violent web sites.
Initially this area of the computer is held with disdain by unsuspecting children. However, depending on the age of the child, the filters can be, with the click of a button (parental supervision required) easily modified to suit the child.
Filters range from child, to youth, to teen, to young adult. Typically zone 2 is set to young child, as we really need most of the surfing to be performed in Zone 1 free from all viruses and spyware.
